Base on thier service concept,Users will not received 100% of the connection speed and will only given by 70-80% of the true speed.Example:Streamyx Broadband RMD66/month package,512Kbps only achieved 40-50KB/s and RMD88/month package,1Mbps only achieved around 80-90KB/s.
Even though they are the biggest broadband provider in Malaysia, TM Net often struggles to keep their customers happy, and even so, they are according to most Malaysian's experiences, not bothered with the customer's complaints. However, many Malaysians have to rely on TM Net to provide them with broadband services, as TM Net has the widest wired-broadband infrastructure coverage in the country.
TM Net has often been mocked by names given by stressed users that would apparently suit their services such as "TM Nuts". Their broadband service isnt spared from this, either. The official name is Streamyx, and because of the amount of problems it gives its users, constant disconnections being the most famous of all, the users have often named it "Screamyx", "Stimx","Sillymyx" and "Slowmyx".
Most Malaysians are now crossing fingers that other broadband providers such as Jaring or Webbit are able to give a good competition to Streamyx, which would then give Streamyx the choice of do-or-die situation where they might lose the majority of their subscribers.

-70-80%??...i don't think i'm gettin even a 50%..+ a supercrazee unstable connection cozing ma msn to act like a submarine....signin in n out......i agree...from the bottom of ma heart...dat tmned doesn't bother to solve most of da complaints they got....screw 'em....-
